San Diego Send Out Cards Super Saturday

There is a feeling in the air you can't get anywhere but San Diego. Here is a quick look around of our event. We had it outside on the pavilion on a beautiful San Diego Day.

Sept. 1, 2013 Hair Day

I think I will let my hair grow long. Today is day one.

Do you get stuck in Traffic ? This might be a Solution

Between 6:30 and 8:00 am every Monday morning you see rush hour traffic with thousand, no, millions commuting to work. You see the freeway packed with people who get up to an alarm clock before they are done sleeping and they do it the next day and the next day and the next day and the next day. They get 2 days off (unless it is a holiday weekend like this one) and then they do it again. For their whole lives they do this!!!

At 11:00 am you see a whole different group of people on the freeway. This is a much smaller group of people. They are not rushed. There are going to the country club, taking a drive up the canyon, going fishing, gym and shopping. They don't look at the week as weekdays and weekends. They are usually much more happy and carefree.

For many years I was in the category of the first group of people. I have since realized that the lifestyle of the second group of people is for anyone who wants to make just a simple change in their direction. You don’t have to be smarter, more educated or even be at a higher social status. You just have to decide you want to change and you want to break out of the rat race.

So, Tuesday morning after the long weekend (US Labor day) think about which group of people you want to be. If the latter group appeals to you, then make a decision to do something about. It is more that possible to change your direction.

Now if you enjoy what you do and getting up early 5 days a week is therapy for you and you live to go to work and you love it, I am not talking to you. I am talking to the 99% that don't feel this way.
